Back to School Resource Fair

JS Jenks HSA hosted it's first Resource Fair in the Fall of 2019 offering parents and families the opportunity to gather information from various service providers and programs that cater to families and children. 

 

JS Jenks HSA After School Movie

JS Jenks HSA hosted an after school movies on October 25, 2019 as a fundraiser, but also helps out families who may not be able to pick up kids early.  Entry fee is $2 and concessions will be sold for $1 each.  Parents are encouraged to volunteer as movie monitors and concession stand attendees.

Playground & Yard Cleanups

Families and community members gather several times a year to clean up the playground

Your participation is appreciated!

If you can't attend, feel free to donate $ to go towards the cleanup.

Fall Feast: Tuesday - November 19th

The HSA & Family Volunteers serve students and staff a delicious lunch!

The main course of the event is catered by HSA

Parents are asked to bring a side dish (assigned by grade - click below for details)

Holiday Treat Event for JS Jenks Staff - Dec. 17th​

The HSA & JS Jenks families set up a treat table for the teachers and staff to say thank you and happy holidays! 

Volunteer to drop off a cookie tray, fruit platter or other delectable delight.

JS Jenks Holiday Sing-a-Long - Dec. 18th

JS Jenks Middle School Choir led students, friends and family in a holiday sing-a-long as part of Chestnut Hill's Stag & Doe Night event.  JS Jenks HSA had hot cocoa and cookies available for donations.

K-2 BBQ

HSA, Parents, and staff ​cook for the K-2 grades to celebrate the end of the year. ​

​

Color Day

The HSA & parents fire up our 2 enormous potbelly grills and serve veggie & beef burgers, turkey and hot dogs, fruit and treats to all staff and students on this Jenks field day!

​

Graduation

We’ll show our support to the outgoing 8th graders by supplying the academic and sports achievement medals, flowers, and balloons this year!

Friends of Jenks (FOJ) - Wands & Wizards Festival

Friends of Jenks coordinates a full day of bouncy houses, crafts, games and food trucks in conjunction with the Chestnut Hill Business Association Witches & Wizards Festival​. This event happens every year. Money raised goes towards school supplies, after school activity expenses, stipends for after school activity staffing, field trip buses, etc.
