Parents,
The Custom Ink group order for MSA uniform polo shirts closes tomorrow, Friday, September 7. Please use the link below to purchase shirts. Custom Ink will begin printing the shirts once the group order closes and deliver the shirts to Jenks. They should arrive in approximately 10-12 days. I will send an e-mail the day they are being sent home so you know when to expect them.
School is closed Monday, September 10, in observation of Rosh Hashanah.
Back-To-School Night is Thursday, September 13, beginning at 6:30pm. There will be a meeting for 8th grade students and parents beginning at 5:45pm to discuss the high school application process. Since Back-To-School Night is for all grades K-8 we anticipate parking to be extremely limited and ask that you arrive as early as you can so you don't miss any of the information. We hope to see all of you there!
The Mr. Softee ice cream truck will be visiting JS Jenks Tuesday, September 18, for students to purchase an ice cream treat. This is the first positive behavior incentive planned for the year.
School is closed Wednesday, September 19, in observation of Yom Kippur.
The High School selection window for 8th grade students opens Friday, September 21 and will close at 5pm Friday, November 2. If you have specific questions please contact Mrs. Watson.
We have grouped parent e-mails by homeroom so you may receive duplicate e-mails if you have children in multiple rooms. Grouping parent e-mails by homeroom allows us to quickly communicate information to either the entire MSA or specific classes as needed. We apologize for the redundant e-mails.
Teachers have been cc'ed on this e-mail so you can reach out to individual teachers as needed.
If you no longer wish to receive these e-mail updates reply to this e-mail with "unsubscribe" in the subject line. Your e-mail will be removed from the contact group.
On behalf of Mrs. Lynskey and the MSA teachers we thank you for the continued support of your child's education!
Mr. Hilburt
